The Amazon Missions School is a comprehensive training center where seasoned workers, who have dedicated their lives to preaching the Gospel across cultures, equip a new generation for the advancement of His Kingdom.
We are blessed to be located at The Finca La Promesa in Leticia, at the strategic tri-border region of the Colombian Amazon, an area uniquely prepared by God to reach indigenous communities with His redeeming love.
Because of this, our training places a strong emphasis on cross-cultural ministry, equipping students to share the Gospel effectively with people beyond their own “Jerusalem.”
This vision aligns with the efforts of many global ministries working to reach the peoples of what is known as the Green Window, a geographical zone spanning the tropical regions of the world between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
This area presents unique challenges to the spread of the Gospel due to the remote and hard-to-reach nature of many of its territories, such as the jungle regions of Colombia, Venezuela, Perú and Brazil.
During the training, we focus on shaping Christlike character in our students. Our goal is to form servants who are prepared to share the Gospel with a solid foundation of biblical knowledge and who reflect God’s love through a genuine heart of service.
Our campus at Finca La Promesa also plays a key role in our mission. It’s designed to develop practical methods and technologies that open doors for sharing the Gospel in hard-to-reach areas, while giving our students hands-on experience in farming, poultry and fish farming, entrepreneurship, and project management.
