Other ways of Giving
RBW Missions is able to accept non-traditional giving methods such as publicly traded stocks, or other appreciated assets. The donor typically qualifies for a deduction based on the full fair market value of the asset without incurring income tax liability on the appreciation. RBW Missions, as a tax-exempt organization, can then sell these assets tax-free, maximizing the funds available for ministry purposes.
For donors who are 70 1/2 years or older, there is the option of Qualified Charitable IRA distributions by which you may contribute funds directly from your traditional IRA to RBW Missions without paying income tax on the distribution. And, if you are 72 years old, these donations count toward your annual required minimum distributions.
