NICARAGUA

A land of resilience and beauty. As the evangelical church grows, so does the need for well-equipped leaders who can faithfully shepherd their congregations. We have the privilege of serving alongside local pastors, providing theological training and practical ministry resources to strengthen their churches and impact their communities.

Inspiring Change Through Leadership

In Nicaragua, we partner with the Nehemiah Center ministry to provide theological education and training on various topics for pastors serving across the country.

Teachings like El Buen Sentido have helped many pastors gain a biblical perspective on finances, restoring a healthy relationship with money in a practical and applicable way. This knowledge is easy to share with others, creating opportunities for evangelism and fostering positive change in entire communities.

The Good Sense

“El Buen Sentido” is a training program designed to transform the way participants understand and manage their finances from a biblical perspective. It focuses on building a mindset of integrity and stewardship, teaching key principles such as how to Earn, Give, Save, Owe, and Spend faithfully. The training goes beyond basic financial literacy by addressing deeper spiritual and cultural attitudes toward money.

Through six lessons taught over three workshop days, participants learn to align their financial habits with kingdom values. In Nicaragua, where many families face economic challenges, El Buen Sentido has been especially impactful, helping people rethink how they generate income, manage resources, and practice generosity, while fostering long‑lasting character and spiritual growth for families and churches.

Sanar las Heridas del Corazón

Sanar las Heridas del Corazón is a training program designed for pastors and church leaders who have experienced trauma or emotional crisis. Its focus is to help them walk through a process of heart healing from a biblical and pastoral perspective. In Nicaragua, where many leaders serve in challenging environments, this program offers a safe space to recognize and overcome deep emotional wounds caused by loss, betrayal, crisis, or other traumatic situations.

As participants progress, they can pursue further training to become certified facilitators of the program. Upon completion, they receive official certification from the Trauma Healing Institute, allowing them to guide others on the path to restoration. In this way, Sanar las Heridas del Corazón becomes not only a personal healing experience, but also a tool to multiply emotional and spiritual health throughout the church and community.

Juntos en el Camino

Juntos en el Camino is a training initiative aimed at pastors, church leaders, and denominational representatives. Its focus is to inspire and strengthen the vision of teamwork, collaboration, and servant leadership within church organizations. The program encourages leaders to unite in a common mission and deepen their understanding of effective church leadership.

Through a series of conferences and small group discussions, participants explore topics related to the growth, health, and strengthening of their churches. In this way, Juntos en el Camino provides a space for dialogue, reflection, and the sharing of best practices that benefit both leaders and their congregations.

Team serving in Nicaragua

Ivania Ramos

Nicaragua Field Director

Ivania joined our team in 2021. She’s an accountant by profession and an ambassador of Jesus by calling. Growing up as a PK (preacher’s kid) in Nicaragua, she has served the Lord in many areas of ministry, and she brings her passion for missions to our team. She works with training and mobilizing the local pastors and churches for the sake of reaching the unreached with the Gospel and helping pastors and their families connect with resources to make that possible. She’s developed into an excellent teacher and facilitator of retreats and conferences.
