colombia
From arid deserts to dense jungles teeming with wildlife and lush vegetation, Colombia is a breathtaking wonder of creation. Home to over 120 ethnic groups, it is a land where we have the privilege of serving in mission.
Repairing the Broken Links
Since our arrival in Colombia, the Lord has allowed us to connect with various ministries, organizations, and missionaries working among indigenous communities. The challenge has often been fostering interdependent relationships, recognizing that only by joining efforts can we achieve the goal of making Christ’s Name known to the ends of the earth.
Although Colombia guarantees freedom of religion under its constitution, allowing open proselytism and access for missionary work, converting to Christianity can present significant challenges, especially within certain ethnic communities. Additionally, the presence of armed groups and their involvement in illicit activities make preaching the Gospel a risk in some remote areas of the country.
